I don't know to what degree, if at all, my clients like my methodical process to understand their issues. I am thorough, and I also let some things go. I don't jump to clichés, and I don't generalize for the fear of straying them wrong.

I wonder if it gets annoying for them.

But my supervisor is pretty detail oriented too, and she does it in a way that builds therapeutic alliance. And I like the way she works with her clients.
