Monochromatic paintings are hard.

Probably because you have to have all the tones you'd need mixed up and ready, while also worrying about drying them up. I'm constantly mixing paint and blending it all in.

There has to be an easier way!

I also probably didn't plan it right. I started with a darker background to give it more texture. I probably should have started with light and added more colour.
