Aw, I feel so loved.
My mom is really picky with her friendships too. One of the friends she has made recently is so very similar to my mom, you can see why they are friends.
My mom told her about something that happened in my life recently. M aunty has been upset about it and angry at the situation, for me. She just called me to ask me to come and spend a day with her - given that my mom is away.
Me being awkward about spending A DAY with someone my mom's age, and being concerned about not knowing what to talk about, I probably didn't reciprocate well. Even though I am really touched that she is reaching out to me to see how I am doing and is angry for me.
(Its nothing too too bad, which makes me feel even more cared for.)
I've made plans to visit her, even if its for a couple hours.
I'm touched.
